The difference between blister and injection

Issuing time:2021-09-08 15:00

The main principle of blister is to heat the flat plastic hard sheet to soften it, then use vacuum to absorb it on the surface of the mold, and cool it to form. It is widely used in plastic packaging, lighting, advertising, decoration and other industries. Injection molding is a method of producing shapes for industrial products. Products usually use rubber injection molding and plastic injection molding.

The following Dexing editor shares the difference between blister and injection molding.

1. Different production methods

The blister product is formed by heating the sheet, then pushing the sheet out, bonding the sheet and the mold by suction, and then cooling and forming. Injection molding is made by squeezing the hot melted plastic onto an injection mold with pressure, and then cooling and molding.

2. Different types of purposes

Blister is mostly used in electronic products, digital products, toys, stationery, hardware accessories, etc. Injection molding is usually used in mobile phone shells, computer shells, plastic cups, mouse shells, hardware accessories shells, etc.

3. The production cycle is different

Blister products are a hot-soft type of production mode, which can blister multiple products at one time by multiple molds. The injection mold has a longer production cycle, which is produced by pressing multiple products in a single mold, and does not need to be punched to form the product directly.

4. From the perspective of practical application

Blister is a product in the form of packaging, while injection molding is a product in the form of articles.
